Head of South Jakarta City Disaster Mitigation (KPBK), Danang Susanto disclosed that unoptimal drainage is the cause of puddles in residential along the Ciliwung River, such as in Rawa Jati. The puddle as high as 30 cm was detected at RT 02/07, Rawa Jati due to clogged drainage.
"This is not the river, but bad drainage performance," he asserted, Tuesday (2/2).
He went on the say that similar condition is also spotted at RT 08/10 Kebon Baru, Tebet. Puddles as high as 30 cm hit a residential. But it could be managed after PPSU officer cleaned up channels at around 5 AM.
